Alliant Visa Platinum Rewards Credit Card

The Alliant Visa Platinum Rewards credit card is an inexpensive credit option with a points reward program designed to leverage savings. As with most loyalty points reward credit cards, the Alliant Visa Platinum Rewards credit card offers points per dollar and one point for every dollar spent with this card. If earning points are trivial to you, you can look at the standard Alliant Platinum Visa card, which has a marginal low-interest rate, but you cannot earn points. Rewards earn 1 point per $1 spent
You get a Signup Bonus Of 0% to 5.99% introductory APR for the first 12 billing cycles on purchases and balance transfers (APR is subject to change), 10,000 bonus points when you spend at least $500 on qualifying purchases within the first 90 days of account opening
There is no annual Fee.
Cash Advance APR 18.24% to 23.24%, based on your creditworthiness (APR may change)
Cash Advance Fee Either $10 or 2% of the amount of each cash advance, whichever is greater
Late Payment Fee is Up to $25
Purchases APR 11.49% to 23.49%, based on your creditworthiness (APR is subject to May change)

Requirements

This credit card application is only possible for Alliant Credit Union members. If you are a member, the application process is a bit simpler. So to apply for the card, you have to be the first register as a member. Before continuing with the application, make sure that at least one of the following conditions is met:
Be an employee or a pensioner of an eligible company
Be a member of the appropriate organization
Living or working in a qualified Chicagoland community
Be a member of Foster Care to Success
In addition to the requirements as an Alliant member you must also:
Be at least 18 years old
Have a valid SSN number
Be a resident of the United States

How to Apply for Alliant Visa Platinum Rewards Credit Card

Step 1 – Start by going to the home page of the Alliant’s card, where you will find a lot of information on the card and its advantages. Go to the secure online application by clicking the Apply online button.
Step 2 – Using the screen application you will be asked to enter the preferred limit, the type and the design of the card you want. Below you can add your promotional code. Click on Continue.
Step 2 – Supply all your personal information, on the page provided after clicking.
Step 3 – Here you will enter your address, place of residence, postcode, housing status and monthly rent or mortgage payment.
Step 4 – Enter your private phone number, cell phone number, e-mail address and mother’s maiden name.
Step 5: The next necessary part of the data is the identification data. Use the drop-down menus to indicate the type of ID and the status of the issue. Just under that, enter the appropriate card number, release date, and expiration date.
Step 6: You are now to provide your employment information.
Step 7 – Provide information on additional income at the bottom of the page (if applicable). Click on Continue
Step 8 -Adding a co-borrower or co-applicant. If you want to add a co-borrower, click Add co-borrower and enter the person’details. .But click on Continue if you are the only person who needs to make purchases using the card.
Step 9: On this page, there is a blank field where you need to specify the preferred contact method (e-mail or phone). However, before sending your card application, check the terms of this credit card to make sure you know exactly what you are applying for. If you accept these terms, select the “Accept” option to accept. Finally, click Continue and your application will be sent to Alliant and vaoila for review. And you will receive a message from Alliant, confirming that your application has been received.

How to login

Start by visiting the online banking portal of Alliant. Enter your username and password in the login menu. Click on login to ensure access to your personalized bank account.
If you have issues signing in because you’ve forgotten your password or username, click Login problem? the link below the login fields. The following page contains two options that can help you in this process. Select Reset access if you have forgotten your password or select recover username if you have forgotten your username
To restore your username, enter the account number of your member in an blank space and enter your date of birth. Click on Continue and follow the instructions on the next page to restore your username.
You can reset your password by entering your username / account number and date of birth and clicking Continue. On the next page, you will find a way to reset your password.

Activation / registration

Credit card activation can be done via an online bank account of Alliant or by calling the number 1 (800) 328-1935 and following the instructions by telephone. After activating the card, select the Secure registration link to start the process of online bank account registration. Enter the account number and your date of birth in the new user installation window . After you have provided the necessary information, click on Continue to the next stage of the registration process. The next step contains Alliant online banking rules. Finally, you must set your login details by choosing a username and password.
After completing the steps above, your Alliant online account must be registered and you can start using the financial management tools available on their website.
