NEA RateSmart Credit Card

NEA RateSmart Credit Card is one of the cards offered by NEA. This has the lowest ARP (10.24% to 20.24%, APR can be changed). In addition to the low APR, NEA offers an initial rate of 0% in the first 12 payment cycles. However, this card has no additional functions and does not include cash and point refunds.

There is no rewards program available for this credit card

New User get a Signup Bonus of 0% APR for the first 12 months after the opening of your account

Annual Fee is not required

Cash Advance APR is 13.24% to 23.24%, based on your creditworthiness, for direct deposit and check cash advances, 25.24% for bank cash advances (APR is subject to change)

Cash Advance Fee is Either $10 or 3% of the amount of each transaction, whichever is greater, for direct deposit and check cash advances, Either $10 or 5% of the amount of each transaction, whichever is greater, for ATM, over-the-counter, same-day online and cash equivalent cash advances

Late Payment Fee is Up to $37

Purchases APR is 10.24% to 20.24%, based on your creditworthiness (APR can change

Requirements

To apply for this card, you must meet the following requirements:

  • You are over 18 years old
  • Be at least 21 years old if you live in Puerto Rico
  • Have a valid SSN number

Apply Now

Step 1 – Go to the card webpage. Then you enter all required detailed information

Step 2. Next provide the required personal information

Step 3 – Use the drop-down menu to enter your work status. Enter the name of the company or employer, Work years, your profession and enter the company phone number.

Step 4 – Enter the total income in the field provided. Use the drop-down menu to indicate the source of income.

Step 5 – You can then consolidate your accounts into one monthly payment by making a balance transfer and / or adding an extra cardholder.

Step 6 – Here you can see the conditions for this card. Read their terms carefully before you click Continue

Step 7 – Ensure at this point that everything is entered correct before you continue.

Step 8 – On this last page you simply mark the small box at the bottom to indicate that you meet the conditions. Then click on Submit to conclude the application

How to Login to NEA RateSmart Credit Card

Go to the  Bank of America’s secure login page. Once accessed, enter your Online Id and Password into the fields located in the login menu. Click Sign In to proceed.

To Activate the card

Activating your credit card is a simple procedure that can be accomplished by calling the number 1 (800) 276 9939 and speaking to a customer service representative. This individual will ask you for some personal information so be sure to have your ID close by.
